How good is this guy playing right now? Today in Syracuse's upset over #1 seeded Connecticut, McNamara didn't shoot particularly well from the field, only shooting 3-14. What he did do, however, was score 17 points, dish out 13 assists, and hit a three with 6.5 seconds left to send the game into overtime. This coming on the heels of his running three-pointer which gave them the win over Cincinnati in round 1 of the tourney. This win undoubtedly knocks the Orange into the tourney, and they'll have a chance to further increase their seed tomorrow when they face the winner of Georgetown/Marquette. Georgetown beat Syracuse in their only meeting this year, and they did not play Marquette, but you have to think that with the way they are playing right now they'll have a chance against whichever team they play.
