Bosu and Kettlebells

Although this is not specifically kettlebells on a bosu it is definitely worth trying as core work for building upto kettlebell lifting on a swiss ball. Almost all exercises can be performed on a Bosu ball to increase instability to add extra core work to your workout.

As starting point simply try single kettlebell squats and pressing on a bosu.


A couple of days a go I posted a video on Os Aponte (here) doing amazing things on several Bosu balls. This is 'out of this World' too.

There are so many youtube videos of kettlebell demonstrations by Steve Cotter, you just don't know which way to turn. The guy really is a phenomenal athlete as his youtube kettlebell videos suggest.

I believe the pistol is a great addition to any athletes regime. although it is extremely difficult you should persevere with this one and work up to it slowly by not trying to do a full psitol immediately but by doing negative squats and partial seated squats and also supported by holding onto door frames. The pistol requires some serious flexibility so stick with it and reap the benfits.
