John Brookfield Kettlebells
As you may already know, John Brookfield has insane hand strength and can do amazing things with his hands such as ripping 3 decks of cards and bending thick steel to name a few.
I watched John Brookfields Kettlebell Secrets DVD the other day again just for a recap and he really has some brilliant ideas that you wouldn't really think about.
John also uses kettlebells in such a way that he also often trains his grip at the same time. I won't go into much detail here but my favourite is using 2 kettlebells together to make swings harder is cracking.
Whilst scanning through youtube I landed on the video below of John Brookfield bottoms up snatching and then flipping a 112lb kettlebell. It's real name in the 'Tower of Terror'............. nice name. It's a new exercise for me so will be having a go pretty soon.
Here are some of John Brookfields achievements with the kettlebell
* 1200 kettlebell snatches in one hour with a 24kg kettlebell
* 302 kettlebell snatches with a 24kg kettlebell in the ten minute snatch test
* 198 kettlebell snatches with a 32kg kettlebell in ten minutes
Amazingly fit and strong! I get the impression that John Brookfield just trains and just gets on with it. If he's doing kettlebells he just lifts, nothing too technical.....just nice and simple.
