Kettlebell Swings For Fat Loss

Kettlebell Swings For Fat Loss

The Kettlebell swing should be the meat of every kettlebell trainers workout.

The kettlebell swing is such a basic exercise and easy to learn, everyone should be doing it. Not only does the swing develop the posterior chain it also can be used very effectively for burning fat when done for high repetitions.

I personally love the kettlebell swing ladder to build up and get into a good fat burning workout.

For the most basic of kettlebell swing workouts for fat loss, simply perform sets of 20 swings with 1 min rest and aim to increase the amount of swings performed each workout. If you feel stiff the next day then take another days rest.

Kettlebell Swing Technique Five Tip Round Up

1.) Make sure the power in your swing come from your hips. It should be all butt and hamstrings.

2.) If your lower back feels quite sore the following day, you need to take a look at your form. If your hammies and backside feel sore.... carry on this is good, you've done them right.

3.) The most difficult bit is that yo must concentrate on form and always need to be practicing in your swing technique, is to not use your arms at all. The best way to do that is to forget about "making the weight go up", and just try to snap your hips fast.

4.) You should snap your hips with power, like jumping, triple extension like in most sports.

5.) Until you've mastered them, treat all swings like a sports practice. When your form deteriates, stop and rest.
