Girevoy Sport After 40

Although not over 40 (yet!) Girevoy Sport After 40 blog offers some superb diagramatic forms of Girevoy Sport. I found some excellent information on short cycle kettlebell jerking with kettlebells. Stuff such as static holds and an excellent transalation of a Russian text about training Gireviks. Brilliant info and can be found here under Stages of Training

I must admit that although I can achieve some fairly good results with heavy weight for a few reps, constant repping with 2 x 32kg kettlebells is not my thing at the moment but is something I am currently working on and trying to develop. I find the movement fine initially but then feel extremely uncomfortable. Maybe this is due to my build. However, I like a challenge so let's keep moving and improving.
