Kettlebell Band Bench Negative

Kettlebell Band Bench Press Negative

I had an idea how to use my kettlebells and stretch bands altogether to try and help my bench press.
In this video clip I have a 40kg and 32kg kettlebell on both sides of the bar (total of 164kg including the 20kg bar) suspended by green and black 'Ironwoody' stretch bands.

The beauty of this exercise is that the weight feels so much heavier at the top because you're taking the full load of the weight and the kettlebells are moving up and down and side to side making the bar realy unstable When you finally give in the weight doesn't come crashing down and cave your chest in, you just get the weight of the bar as bands are long enough to prevent this so it kind of acts as a safety mechanism too.

The main point of concern being that if you're hands aren't spaced correctly they may shoot back and hit the uprights, so if you try it be careful.

In this video I try and hold for as long as possible then tried for a 'Bench Press'
AS you can see I failed miserably but will try just holding for longer to and build upto a bigger bench press.
